  4. "In My Life" - The Beatles (1965) IMO their finest song, beautiful, melodic and heartbreaking. It doesn't waste a single note, second or word. The first line Lennon sings always gets me: "There are places I'll remember all my life, though some have changed..." "Like A Rolling Stone" - Bob Dylan (1965) Possibly Dylan's greatest lyrical accomplishment, a scathing indictment of a slumming rich girl matched with a great rhythm and excellent organ riffs.

  8. In the video the piece playing at the start is, I believe, from Rimsky-Korsakov's arrangement of Mussorgsky's A Night on Bald Mountain, also the theme song of The Toxic Avenger. "World In My Eyes" - Depeche Mode "Rebellion (Lies)" - Arcade Fire So many great songs on Funeral its hard to choose...I had it narrowed down to this one and "Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)" but this is a little bit more accessible.
  9. I think this one deserved a spot too. I also would have put Dylan's "Hurricane" on the list over "Sad-Eyed Lady..." And I agree with "When the Levee Breaks" being included since its my favourite Zeppelin song but I'm a little surprised they chose it over "Stairway" or "Kashmir".
  10. Thanks Shawna and Lucky for your support and advice. I will definitely be talking to them about this, letting them know how important these issues are to me and the company and hopefully we can resolve them to prevent any other inspection concerns.
  11. "Whipping Post" - Allman Brothers Band
  12. "I walked through a county courthouse square On a park bench, an old man was sittin' there. I said, "Your old court house is kinda run down, He said, "Naw, it'll do for our little town". I said, "Your old flag pole is leaned a little bit, And that's a ragged old flag you got hangin' on it". "Ragged Old Flag" - Johnny Cash Word Up: Silk
  13. "On Your Own" - The Verve Tell me what you seen Was it a dream? Was I in it? Life seems so obscene Until it's over Who knows? All I want is someone who can fill the hole In the life I know In between life and death When there's nothing left Do you wanna know? Keane has a few: "She Has No Time" Well think about the lonely people And think about the day she found you Or lie to yourself And see it all dissolve around you She says she has no time for you now "We Might As Well Be Strangers" I don't know your thoughts these days We're strangers in an empty space I don't understand your heart It's easier to be apart We might as well be strangers in another town We might as well be living in another time Also, one of my favourite songs from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Maps" Wait, they don't love you like I love you
  14. ^Yeah definitely the right decision, I was going to say something...
