Just found another one:
GN'R - Dead Horse

Thank you all so far!
Especially thanks to The Seeker for "Married With Children" and to LeeBB for his list. I did not know Martha Wainwright but her "dylan-ness" combined with all the anger makes it a great song!

I also prefer songs where you can read the ******* you between the lines instead of explicitly saying it.

I'm having a bad time right now and I'm looking for some ******* you/I don't give a sh*t songs.
Hope you know what I mean.
In my playlist right now:
Oasis - Be here now
Guns N' Roses - Double talkin' jive
Please help me to add some rock/britpop songs that have a similar attitude.

and Welcome to SF, mcman
Thanks for warm welcome!
it's such a bittersweet symphony this life
trying to make ends meet,
you're a slave to money - then you die...
really uplifting
I know that the lyrics are quite depressing but the melody just makes me feel good.
That is why I said either lyrically or musically or both in my first post.

slow/heavy acoustic/amplified rock songs?

Hi,
can you help me with rock songs that either start slowly and get heavy in the end or start with an acoustic guitar and use amplifiers later in the song?
Examples I can think of:
Metallica - One
Foo Fighters - February Stars
Guns N' Roses - Civil War
(Pink Floyd - Mother)
Thank you!
