  1. Hi, can you help me with rock songs that either start slowly and get heavy in the end or start with an acoustic guitar and use amplifiers later in the song? Examples I can think of: Metallica - One Foo Fighters - February Stars Guns N' Roses - Civil War (Pink Floyd - Mother) Thank you!
  2. Just found another one: GN'R - Dead Horse
  3. Thank you all so far! Especially thanks to The Seeker for "Married With Children" and to LeeBB for his list. I did not know Martha Wainwright but her "dylan-ness" combined with all the anger makes it a great song!
  4. I also prefer songs where you can read the ******* you between the lines instead of explicitly saying it.
  5. I'm having a bad time right now and I'm looking for some ******* you/I don't give a sh*t songs. Hope you know what I mean. In my playlist right now: Oasis - Be here now Guns N' Roses - Double talkin' jive Please help me to add some rock/britpop songs that have a similar attitude.
  6. Thanks for warm welcome! I know that the lyrics are quite depressing but the melody just makes me feel good. That is why I said either lyrically or musically or both in my first post.
  7. Ok, list rock/alternative/britpop songs that make you feel happy. Either lyrically or musically or both. Here are some songs I already found: U2 - Beautiful Day Red Hot Chili Peppers - The Zephyr Song Travis - Sing Buckcherry - For The Movies The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony The Verve - Sonnet Blind Melon - No Rain Blind Melon - Change Coldplay - Yellow Oasis - Live Forever Guns N' Roses - Paradise City Guns N' Roses - Breakdown Bob Dylan - Positively 4th Street Nirvana - In Bloom
