  1. A 7-layer burrito from Taco Bell that my 18 year old son didn't like since 2 of the layers were lettuce and tomato. So I got him two 5-layer burritos but he only ate one and I ate the other. That was a lot of food, but I never pass up Taco Bell.
  2. It's 23 here and that's cold for where I live in Maryland. Luckily growing up in New york helps me tolerate this weather. Cold to me is 10 degrees.
  3. "Rosalita"-Bruce Springsteen I've been a real Springsteen jag lately.
  4. Did I post that right? I'm still trying to figure out how your board works. Like I have no clue how to post an image or a video.
  5. What band's name came from a book by early 1900 author Sinclair Lewis?
  6. Was it The Beatles "White Album"?
  7. These are not my personal choices but I'm good at guessing what the Academy will choose. Although they threw me completely off with that "Hurt Locker" thing last year. Best Picture: The King's Speech Best Actor: Colin Firth Best Actress: Natalie Portman Best Supporting Actor: Christain Bale Best Supporting Actress :Melissa Leo Best Director: David Fincher Best Original Score: Inception Best Original song: "I See The Light"
  8. Oh good, a topic where I can't go wrong. Bean soup and cornbread
  9. If I answer this I may be admitting I could be one of the oldest music lovers among you. I don't recognize most of the songs that were hit records the year I was born except for "Ghost Riders in the Sky" by Vaughn Monroe. And "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" by Gene Autry Good God, I'm old, but not in my head.
  10. Sorry I didn't see this video sooner, but I LOVED it! It was kinda trippy and very cool. I often forget how much I like an artist until I hear one of their songs. So of course I had to watch several Moody Blues videos after that one. I saw The Moody Blues in concert in NYC in the 60's, they were great. Thanks for sharing it.
  11. "Murder Incorporated"-Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band
  12. Reruns of Criminal Minds. I have TIVO so I watch it when I want to. I love TIVO.
  13. Even before I read your post I was thinking of Muse. I love this band, this was the first song I heard of theirs and I knew I had to hear more. I'm driving my teenage son crazy since his goal is too find music that pisses his parents off and when I told him how much I liked Muse he had a fit. But he's starting to wear me down with some of his heavy metal. I know I didn't do this link right, but I haven't figured out how to do it in here.
  14. I got rid of Frostwire it seemed to slow my computer down and I installed Ares by some one's suggestion here. I like it so far. I don't know if anyone had heard of it but my son-in-law ( who I have similar musical taste with)go figure. It's a site from Russia I think you can download songs for 15 cents. It use to 9 cents, but it's still a good deal. I think it's called Go music now.
  15. Bon Jovi Beastie Boys Donovan The J.Geils Band Neil Diamond
