Moondance - Van Morrison
Love Van. Love the Moondance album, but how did that track get in there? Completely out of place on that country/soul album (and really, just not very good compared to every other track).

No, not involved. The core of Chrissy and Mark has never really stopped in the last 30 years, but those around them come and go. I'll be working for the government in my llittle cubicle farm.
Approaching Pavonis Mons By Balloon - Flaming Lips (I LOVE the whole Yoshimi album)
Flying - Beatles
Pet Sounds - (I really like Brian's live version from the Roxy show)
Batman / both The Who and The Jam.
Anything by Booker T.
Wedding Cake Island - Midnight Oil
lots more...
Yeah, dropped out; got a real job. But I still have my guitar, my banjo and my violin. The blasted flute still eludes me. And I play piano for my kids' school concerts. There are SongFactors members who were born in the time since I played my last gig ;-)
(Can't recall Yoko in Cold Turkey... it sounds a lot like John to me, but what do I know?!?)
What is Life? - George Harrison
A song with Jimmy Page as a session player.
Pinkstones:
Hello Stranger - Yvonne Elliman
I Just Wanna Be Your Everything - Andy Gibb
The Love I Lost - Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes
Love's Theme - Love Unlimited Orchestra
You Don't Have to Be a Star - Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis Jr.
I love this. This isn't the usual kind of stuff I'd expect from someone of your vintage. At least three of those are going to make it into my list.

Okay, looks like I'm tired and confused.
So... trivia. Which song from this unloved selection was sung/played by me in my famous wine-bar debut of 1980?
Turns out that every one of my songs got at least one vote, so that's all good. If you did miss it when it was happening, have a peek here. I'd love you to check it out. I'm not sure if the playlist is still working.. let me know. There might be something there you'd enjoy ;-)
