  1. Does anyone know what has happened to Ronna Reeves. She was an achingly beautiful country singer that used to appear on The Statler Brothers. Her "After the Dance" album was released in 1995 and I have not really heard much of her since. Wow, she had an incredible voice. Anyone know what she is doing now?
  2. Eric Carmen's "Boats Against the Current" perhaps inspired by Fitzgerald's book "The Great Gatsby". A song of unrequited love between Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan.
  3. None of those match so far. It was a male singer, somewhat melodic and slow and then the tempo sped up (kind of same style of Raspberries Let's Pretend). I'd be embarrassed if they weren't one hit wonders and some huge band, but unfortunately, I think they had this song released and it received some airplay and then they were gone. Thanks for the responses. I have hope!
  4. Hi Everyone. I've got a tough one. I'm looking for a specific song that was a summer hit in the summer of 1971, 1972, or 1973. Lyrics are somthing like: "And I'm leaving, but I want you to know. I'd like to stay but there's a course I must go." Also included is: "oh but I love you, oh but I love you so" Sorry-- a little iffy, but that's all I remember. Any help in identifying it is appreciated.
