  3. I'll try to be the 1st to reply and say...... this | really like. Because, see I like everything, pretty much, to some degree. I'm easily amused. I even like things I don't like, sometimes, just to see what it's like for others who do like them .......(and who am I to say because I may really be a bit more crazy than the average fish)....... But, this | really like

  6. 7,on the F scale, this morning when i was trying to start my car at 6am,in western Mass.. Colder, they say, with the "wind chill index". But that's silly. Some kind of a guess based on how much colder being exposed to the wind makes you feel Why not have a "wet wind chill" temp too? That's how cold you 'actually' feel when wet and exposed to the wind All I know is it was the kind of cold that instantly freezes any exposed bodily fluids, like those in your nose. But that's nothing. I used to live 'up north'... North side of the Adirondacks. Sometimes on a clear, calm winter's night the mercury would drop to 25 - 30 below zero (f). Kind of awe inspireing in some strange way. The thing I really like about winter is the way it negates fashion. When it's that cold, even the most trendy among us are happy just to wrap themselves in anything warm

  9. The Other Boleyn Girl sometime in Oct. Historically inaccurate, but great, authentic looking, sets and costumes. Top-notch acting throughout. Slow & a little hard to follow at times (but that's not saying much since | don't follow well to begin with ) The beheading scenes are not for the squeamish Overall I'd givit a mild 6.5 ** **this is just a 'thumbs up!' not a trademark

  16. BF, again I am in your debt! Consider the section revised. Thank you for taking the time, that most precious and finite of personal resources. And for the awareness you unveiled. I hope to make good use of both. ___________ ___________ & @ Lucky: Thank you for reading (and sticking with it)Stay tuned
  17. As long as it gets to the next whiskey bar.
  18. Not at all! Not even a tiny bit! I understood and I hold nothing but appreciation and give great thanks for your kind words and suggestions. I could not have paid for better observations or critique! And for your sentence in explanation Over-explaining. On the page, and (I am fairly sure just about everybody but me notices) in everyday conversation. I catch myself every once and rare again. I need to work harder at catching myself more often And letting myself believe, as much as I can, in my own 1st explanation. And, again, I thank you! p.s. to anyone else out there, thank you for reading. And sure I'm as sensitive as the next big tough goldfish, but I can take a little criticism, and I'm happy to have any feedback at all. I just hope I can think of what to say next

  23. Yes, agreed some (quite a bit) but once in a while he's pretty good.
  24. Zappa was really funny in a really funny, because of the disturbing truths he points out, sort of way. From early classics like "America Drinks and Goes Home", "The Duke of Prunes" and "Hungry Freaks, Daddy" to things like "Montana" and "Cosmik Debris" in the '70's. His social satire was too tragically sharp to really be silly, funny. But funny, ironically, anyway. -----------"you're probably wondering why I'm here"------------
