  1. Gotta throw in my country suggestions. There's More To Me Than You~Jessica Andrews I spent years and all of this time Thinking I was better off 'cause you were mine You always said it was your way or the highway So I'm shiftin' my life into drive I'm getting out, kissin' the past goodbye Like Toby said "How do you like me now?" This conversation has run dry And I keep telling myself Oooh, Oooh, there's more to me than you Oooh, Oooh, don't understimate what I can do Well I'm alright, It's okay I know I'll make it through 'Cause there's more to me than you I'm not sayin' I'm battered and bruised But I might as well be with the words you use I believe in myself and that makes me stronger Things change, so have I I'm gonna make hay while the sun still shines You can clip my wings, I'm still gonna fly I'm on my own and I'm on my way And I keep telling myself Oooh, Oooh, there's more to me than you Oooh, Oooh, don't understimate what I can do Well I'm alright, It's okay I know I'll make it through 'Cause there's more to me than you There was always something that meant more to you than me And I'm just sorry it's taken this for you to see Oooh, Oooh, there's more to me than you Oooh, Oooh, don't understimate what I can do Well I'm alright, It's okay I know I'll make it through 'Cause there's more to me than you Or I'm Movin' on~Rascal Flatts I've dealt with my ghosts And faced all my deamons Finally content with the past I regret I found you find strenght in your moments of weakness For once I'm at peace with my self I've benn burdened with blame Traped in the past for too long I'm movin on I've lived in this place And I know all the faces Each one is different But they're always the same They mean me no harm But it's time that I face it They'll never allow me to change But I never dreamed Home would end up where I don't belong I'm movin on I'm moving on At last I can see (Last I can see) Life has been patiently waiting for me And I know there's no guarentees But I'm not alone There comes at time In everyones life When all you can see Are the years passing by (are the years passing by) And I have made up my mind That those days are gone I've sold what I could Packed what I couldn't Stopped to fill up on my way out of town I've loved like I should But lived like I shouldn't I had to loose everything to find out. Maybe forgiveness will find me somewhere down this road I'm Moving on I'm moving on I'm moving on Hope it's not too late to help ya... ~*Ash*~
  2. There are 2 songs out on Country Radio right now, that I, for the life of me, can't quite figure out. If you have any interpretations, please feel free to share, I will include the songs, and lyrics: "More Like Her"~Miranda Lambert She's beautiful in her simple little way She don't have too much to say when she gets mad She understands she don't let go of anything Even when the pain gets really bad Guess I should've been more like that You had it all for a pretty little while And some how you made me smile when I was sad You took a chance on a bruised and beaten heart Then you realized you wanted what you had I guess I should've been more like that I should have held on to my pride I should have never let you lie I guess you got what you deserverd I guess I should've been more like her Forgiving you, she's stronger than I am You don't look much like a man from where I'm at It's plain to see desperatino showed it's truth You love her and she loves you with all she has I guess I should've been more like that I should have held on to my pride I should have never let you lie I guess you got what you deserverd I guess I should've been more like her She's beautiful in her simple, little way And "She Never Cried In Front of Me"~Toby Keith Seven thirty five She`s someone`s else wife I can get`on with my life And that thrills me She married him today Her daddy gave the bride away I heard a tear rolled down her face And that kills me Cause now I, can see why She`s finally cryin` How was I supposed to know She was slowly letting go If I was putting her through hell Hell I couldn`t tell She could`ve given me a sign And opened up my eyes How was I supposed to see She never cried in front of me Yeah maybe I might`ve changed It`s hard for me to say But the story's still the same And it`s a sad one And I`ll always believe If she ever did cry for me They were tears that you can`t see You know the bad ones And now I, can see why She`s finally cryin` Repeat chourus Without a doubt I know now How it oughta be Cause she`s gone & it`s wrong And it bothers me Tomorrow I`ll still be Asking myself How was I supposed to know She was slowly letting go If I was putting her through hell Hell I couldn`t tell She could`ve given me a sign And opened up my eyes How was I supposed to see How was I supposed to see She never cried in front of me Hell I couldn`t tell Thanks very much! ~*Ash*~
  3. Ok, yeah, would've never found this, only found one place online that had the lyrics, and it was a PDF file. Tracked down the grad I went to see and asked her, it's called "You Think This is Your Home" by Blair Woods. Here are the lyrics: You Think This Is Your Home By Blaire Woods Looking at these white washed walls you see, time has left its mark while we've been here, but we never stopped to notice. Finger prints upon the keys and Cracks in the floor and ceiling and Streaks of rain and dirt upon the window. You never realized this before; that you don't belong here anymore. You think this is your home, but it won't be for long. Cause everything starts changing just as soon as you belong. Here at 1512, we can all be ourselves. Living in a moment, Forgetting everything else. Now the room is packed and put away. Still you feel there's so much left to say to the people you are leaving. Looking at the place you've come to know, It's nothing much but you made it your own. You'll lock the door and leave it all behind you. Walk down your street once more. Time to venture out into the cold You think this is your home, but it won't be for long. And you cannot take with you what you have to leave alone. Here at 1512, We can all be ourselves, But everything keeps moving on and on. Remember what they say. Soon enough these faces fade away to the days that are kept waiting. Take a step down this familiar ground; one last chance to take a look around before you walk to the edge of what you know. You never realized this before, But you'll never walk this path anymore. You think this is your home, but it won't be for long. So take a look around you cause soon it will be gone. I had to park my car, to think before I drove away. And this is who I am, I am one of us just as you are one with me, We're one wherever we go. Wherever we go..... We think this is our home, but it won't be for long. Cause everything starts changing just as soon as we belong. I'd rather lose with all than ever win as one. I'd rather cry with many than smile on my own. Here at 1512, We can all be ourselves, But everyone keeps moving on and on... Again tho, thanks for everyone's help! ~*Ash*~
  4. During the ceremony. There was a moment when all the graduates gave their parents (Or grandparents, whoever was their guardian) roses, and this song was played during that point. ~*Ash*~
  5. Well I heard it at Graduation this past Friday, and it was a high school graduation, so I'm assuming it has to be recent. And it appeared to be just a solo female artist. Also tempo was slow. ~*Ash*~
  6. Thanks for the help, it's really bugging me, I'm trying to recall an exact line from the song, but it's just not working... And I believe the song doesn't say going home, but it might be something along the lines of "This isn't your home anymore." ~*Ash*~
  7. I was at a graduation on Friday night, and heard a song, sung by a female, it was a slower song, I'm not sure what it was tho. I'm trying to remember the lyrics, but I know it said something about This not being your home anymore, and I remember something about 15, 12. Which I assumed was military time, but again, I'm not sure. It also mentioned something about treasuring the time you have or something because you never know when it's gone... I know it's not much to go on, but anyone have any suggestions? Thanks much! ~*Ash*~
  8. Hold on the Nights~Richard Marx It's not included on this site, does anyone have any information on it? Inspiration, etc.? ~*Ash*~
  9. I think this song was written about the supposed "influence" his music had on young adults. ~*Ash*~
  10. Thanks. My fiance is a truck driver, and I'm on the road with him, he loves rap, I love more pop stuff (Celine Dion, etc.) We compromise on Country, but he's getting sick of Country, so I decided to make a rap cd with songs I can actually tolerate, and this is one... ~*Ash*~
  11. Found it! Apparently it is an artists that's well known... LOL. Bone Thugs N Harmony-Ghetto Cowboy. Thanks for helping guys! ~*Ash*~
  12. Nope, sorry... This is a hard one I know. I wish I had more to go off of... I do recall there being both male and female artists (If you want to call rapping art...) in it. ~*Ash*~
  13. Nah, not that. This one was more ummm... explicit I believe. I don't think it was a very big artist, and I'm sure they're basically unknowns at this point... But thanks! ~*Ash*~
  14. There was a rap song my sister used to love when she was high school age (late 90's.) I don't remember the title, or much about it, I know it was a rap song, with like a western theme, and I remember something about "hiding in the bushes" or something along those lines... I know it's not much to go off of, but I figured if anyone could find it, it'd be you guys. Thanks, ~*Ash*~
  15. Thank you very much. I've visited the site quite a few times, but never checked the message boards. Now I wish I would've found them sooner! ~*Ash*~
