Well I've been called many things in my day, but devoid...from someone I don't know...ouch! As for my lunch money, you will have to wrestle me for it and I've kicked many men's butts in my day!

For those of you that aren't up on the meaning of devoid... de·void 1. not possessing, untouched by, void, or destitute (usually fol. by of). –verb (used with object) 2. to deplete or strip of some quality or substance: imprisonment that devoids a person of humanity. —Synonyms 1. lacking, wanting, destitute, bereft, barren. Now I wonder why I would have taken that comment as an insult?

Do you insult all the new memebers here on SF? Is that your job as a "mod"? What a nice welcome, thanks so much! I guess you need to follow on here rather than have a mind of your own.

I realize I'm still new here, but I've read over the forums and have seen discussions get very heated and people seem to get upset or feelings hurt, I was just pointing out that with anything dealing with religion and yes talking about Jesus is religion related, that some might get over heated so to speak. That was the point I was trying to make, but I quess it didn't come across clearly or my point in null and void??

I'm well aware of what was stated in the opening statement, I read quite well, thank you. But it would be quite easy for this topic to take a turn where people get very passionate and opinionated. As for John Lennon, of course a discussion about him would be welcome, this is a music site afterall. Great idea!

I feel religion and thoughts about Jesus are personal and not appropriate for a message board site. I was quite surprised to see this as a topic. Relition and spirituality are things most hold dearly and with an open discussion as this, you risk people maybe getting a bit over opinionated. I hope this thread doesn't take a bad turn.

Try this marinade with chicken or pork... 2 cups soy sauce 1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup brown sugar 3 cloves of garlic finely chopped or put thru a garlic press a dash of ginger if you like Blend well together until the sugar starts to dissolve. Pour over meat, I use a ziplock bag and then set in a bowl, and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight, best when done overnight...then grill or bake.

What am impossible question to answer. Being a fan of The Beatles since I can remember, how could I pick only one song? Almost as difficult as someone saying you have 10 kids, pick your favorite, can't be done. For me, it changes almost daily depending on my mood. So I won't pick just one song leaving out all the others that touch my heart.
