modern R&B has indeed some great songs. But the name is totally wrong and confusing. The songs have rhythem, yes, but no blues. no blues at all imo.

I saw Marianne Faithfull last year. I wasn't really impressed
She interacts with the crowd and such, but the songs weren't so interesting.

I just installed Google Chrome, seems it's a lot faster then Firefox and Internet Explorer. Has anybody got bad experience (security issues etc..) with this browser?

yeah Jim broke with his family years before his death. Père Lachaise already had some famous dead people at the time, so it wasn't that weird to bury Jim there.

The Kinks’ 1976 concept album Schoolboys In Disgrace is being turned into a movie.
Ray Davies is acting as executive producer on the project, which tells the story of a schoolboy’s ongoing battle with the educational establishment, which leads to him becoming Mr. Flash, the villain on the band’s rock operas Preservation Act 1 (released in 1973) and Preservation Act 2 (1974).
This is being written and directed by Bobcat Goldthwait.

Following his time palling around with Dave Grohl and John Paul Jones in Them Crooked Vultures, Josh Homme is getting back to leading his primary outfit Queens of the Stone Age. According to an interview with Rolling Stone, Homme will take his hard rock band into the studio in the fall, following some festival dates in Europe.
