One more suggestion: All radio stations maintain a daily play list. IE, what song was played, and when. You may try to contact the station and ask what songs were played on that date, at the approx time you heard the song. That may answer your ?.... Jim -

Margo, if you could give alittle something more to work with, like maybe some of the lyrics. That might help. But anyway in searching music that contains that exact progression somewhere within the song, I came up with the following so far: -Billy Joel, Just the way you are. -David Bowie, China girl. -Beach Boys, Sloop john 'b'. -Queen, Somebody to love. -Doobie Bro's, What a fool believes. -Clapton, wonderful tonight. -Van Halen, Jump. -We are the world -Guess Who, American woman. -Bill Medley/ Jennifer Warnes, The time of my life -Beach Boys, Good vibrations. -Pink Floyd, Another brick in the wall, pt-2. -Phil Collins, Another day in paradise. -Survivor, Eye of the tiger, (Rocky). -Ann Murry, You needed me. Theres alot of others, but they dont fit the era. Jim -

I did a search on that site for matching music. the 80's music that contain that exact notation (that are listed) are: 'Chariots of Fire' Vangelis, and 'If you leave me now' Chicago.. Chariots of Fire was an instrumental. And I'm sure you know the Chicgo song. I'll keep at it for alitte while though. J -

Hey Margo, if ya can translate that into chords I understand, I might have a shot at it. I'm not familiar with the "r", "ais", "dis", or "gis". I take the numbers are the beats? Jim -

This is a very well written song. Although I can agree with a few of the opinions posted out on the main SF board, I dont agree with alot of them.. In my opinion (for whatever its worth), I think the song speaks of the desparity of the unfortunate that falls on the deaf ears of the fortunate. Jim -
Your quite welcome Ron. Not a problem. Jim

Hey Farin, I think you hit it right on the head w/ Another Day in Paradise.. Good one. Sums that unfortunate circumstance right up........ Jim

I've had no luck on a download link for this either. But I did find a 'Best of Reading rainbow' released in 02 or 03. found it at alltheweb.com key words/ ancient places, sacred lands. no audio download, but the production seems to be available for a price. From all searching I did, it seems that the song (in its full length version) only excists on some studio master tape, and was never used in whole. But I cant be sure about that... Jim

Time travel would be great..then I could leave 3 or 4 days earlier than I did the first time, and get to see the whole show this time. Jim -
Its hard to draw a line between the two... There are so many factors to include in the argument, that it makes it vertually impossable to vote on such a subject. Jim

I still have that Grand Funk album, and a friend has the Turtles album. The others mentioned so far we have heard of. I'm just curious about how many other odball vinyls of this nature were released, and may still be out there lurking in someones attick, or closet..... Jim
-
Ie: Different colored vinyl, different speed setting on each side, blank sides, repeated sides, ETC? Heres one/ Grand Funk Railroad- We're an American Band. A transparent gold vinyl album.
