....I just realised something. That in the last 7 and a half years of this new millenium, we've accomplished nothing musically. Music hasn't had a major impact socially like it did in the 60's and 70's. If you think about it, it's all pop. The whole "emo" movement is big, but I think that is just ripping of the goth scene of the 80's.... Anyone there to comfort me and tell me something I don't know or that if missed in the last 7 and a half years.....?

Personally I don't think that the music Jefferson Airplane created sounds old (same as the Doors). I think that most of Led Zeppelin and the early Who stuff sounds dated and that it was made in the 60's/70's. With JA and The Doors it sounds fresh and new, like it was made yesterday....

I've often thought of songs that would be perfect for moments in your life, big events or just everyday stuff.... So I'll start it off by say a moment in my life and then a song that would go perfect for it, just like a soundtrack.... Geddit? Of course you do Breaking up from a long term relationship?
