It annoys me when people buy bottled water here. Vancouver has some of the cleanest water in the world, and it only has to travel down from the mountains instead of being shipped from god knows where in little plastic bottles. You always get free tap (maybe filtered if they care) water in restaurants here. It's weird to think of paying for water in a restaurant. I usually just drink the free water if I'm trying to save money when I'm eating.

I watched the most recent Harry Potter last night. It was entertaining, but needlessly unfaithful to the book in a lot of places. That bugged me as I've read all the books more than a couple times. Still pretty funny.

on a lighter note, my only recurring theme in dreams is killing zombies. or sometimes vampires. they aren't scary in the least, more exhilirating. I've never really had a nightmare that I can remember.

did you find it difficult? not to resist the temptation I mean, but just because sometimes it's difficult to find vegetarian food, especially when you're out with friends. I've been considering becoming a vegetarian, I just don't like meat all that much most of the time.

I love AoE II, I used to play it all the time with my friends. It's probably my favourite video game. AoM was pretty good, but kind of disappointing in that the myth units were useless- the best strategies involved only human soldiers. I also didn't like the expansion. The Atlanteans were a pain in the ass, and the titans were just lame. I haven't played video games very much recently, though. I quit WoW a couple years ago because it was no longer as fun and took up too much time. I did play Portal recently though, it is an excellent game, extraordinarily well made.
