  3. Somehow I made my way into a Karaoke competition, I have a deep voice, in the range of Johnny cash, JR Brown, and some of elvis. I'm looking for some song choices that would be in my range. I know theres some that I'm missing here. I made it into the competition with Johnny Cash's "Cocaine Blues" Looking for either fast or slow songs. I'll need a few of each actually.
  4. I'm looking for some songs about fate intervening. Right off the top of my head, I've came up with these. The Beatles, Let it be. Doris Day, Que Sera, sera Hank Williams Jr. If it will, it will. I could use a lot more of these right now, as I am down, but not out.
  5. I'm looking for songs about reuniting with an old love, dated in high school, now many years later getting back together and a flood of emotions coming back that feels like it was just yesterday that we were at our homecoming dances and walking hand in hand at our county fair. its pretty wild. lol I thought of Toby Kieths, we were in love. of course theres plenty of the songs we used to dance to and listen to in the car, but still, would like to be able to find a song about the present situation. any help would be great.

  11. If I'm not mistaken, thats another one of the riverboats that stops by our little town of Marietta Ohio. The Ohio has a lot of scenery and its always neat to see one of the big boats coming through.

  16. I'm looking for the song that was on the nintendo ds commercial for the guitar strumming game. I dont know the lirics but I know the one part of it is "I realy wanna know" anybody seen that commercial?
  17. im suprised I actually knew one. It was The Evening Birds, recorded sometime in the late 30's early 40's
  18. I'm looking for a Reminisce song for a wedding slide show. As a kid I would dress up as an indian going on horseback trailrides. Pretending to be Billy the kid or Jessie James I would strap a rifle scabbard to my bike so I could carry my B.B. gun easier, and when I did I had a B.B. pistol on my hip as well. We Played army, cowboys and indians, hunted imaginary killer animals, tracked down imaginary "dangerouse men", and Were a gang of Bank/train robbers ourselves. we swam in the creeks, and hardley ever came out of the woods during the day. We Idolized Evil Kanivel and his stunts, and would set up our own ramps pretending to be him. So im looking for song that would fit the kind of kid I was. the only songs I can come up with are Toby Keiths - I miss billy the kid, John andersons, where have all the children gone, and Crosby,Stills,Nash, and Young's - Teach your Children. Looking for any suggestions. All recomendations are Welcome and Wanted. Thanks for your time.
  19. I agree with you on that one, even though I dont think anyone will ever have a better voice than Freddie Mercury. Man what a wide voice range!
  20. Cant help you there, but I do have a funny lil story about Bob. I used to date a girl who's dad was friends with Bob up until about High school. He told me that Bob droped out of High school because he said it "interfeered with his music." and "we all thought he was a looser at first for doing it" only to find out "well what do you you know, the son of a B_tch made it" He said when he was just starting to get famous he'd come into the local bars and try to have a drink with his old buddies but everytime we'd sit down and just relax with him, people would show up and hound him. He said after Bob got world famouse he had already moved to ohio and never saw Bob again.
  21. im with mindcrime on that one. I belive it was Rogers & Hammerstein. If you like plays and such that was a great one. and if you like the songs from that play you should check into the songs (I'm just a girl who can't say no)and the song (oklahoma)
