I don't know if its just because 9/11 was the first major thing that has made me realize that no matter how big or tough you think you are, there is always someone out there who can bring you to your knees. Even if its only for a minute.
But Darryl Worley's Have You Forgotten is a song that will remind of that day where so many of the things I thought were certain, weren't certain at all. They we're nothing but false securities that I had and I know that we as a country had made in our mind.
And because of the respect I have for anyone who is willing to die to protect this country and our freedoms, I also favor Toby Keith's American Soldier and the Warren Brothers Hey Mr President.
But nothing pumps me up like Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue by toby Keith.
