  1. You are too, too good. That's it. Thanks a million! Oh well, soo much for 2001. Hope I can return the favor someday. To everyone else, thank you very much for your help.
  2. Thanks; I really appreciate it. I have no idea other than it's one of those songs I feel I've heard many times; perhaps from a soundtrack. Additionally, do you think that first little part is from one song, then you have the primary song, ending with a snippet from a third? Or do you think it's one song? That last little humming part sounds like Shania Twain on her song "From This Moment". I may be smoking celery with everything following the word "Additionally".
  3. I need help with this song which you can access at: http://download.yousendit.com/DF804386015FDDFD Thank you.
  4. No, it wasn't Taps. I do appreciate your replying to this. Thanks.
  5. Hi folks. I'm new to this forum and I really like it. My question is this: Today I heard music played by Fox News while they were showing clips of President Ford. The music was the beginning of the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey with the trumpets as they lead into the tiffany drums and then the entire orchestral body. It was only those six notes da da daaa, da da daaa. They would repeat at different levels of higher or lower. For example. If the string started at A, the next time it might start at C and then maybe start at A again; so on and so forth. It didn't sound like a loop; it sounded as if though it was made expressly as a dignified and solemn sounding version of the 2001 theme opening notes. This is a tad difficult to explain. Thanks for your help.
