All make me think of the girl I knew when I was 11 years old in 1972. Some are because of the lyrics, some were popular at the time.
#10 Forever Young - Alphaville
# 9 Wildflower - Skylark
# 8 My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion
# 7 I Will Rest In You - Jaci Velasquez
# 6 Above The Clouds - E.L.O.
# 5 Day After Day (The Show Must Go On)- Alan Parsons
# 4 Everything I Own - Bread
# 3 I Dreamed Last Night - Justin Hayward/John Lodge
# 2 I'd Love You To Want Me - Lobo
And the number 1 song that I refuse to play when anyone else is around.....
"Nights In White Satin" - The Moody Blues

Not a song, but as a young boy when saying the Lord's Prayer before going to bed at night I was convinced that it was " and lead a snot into temptation"
Most symbolic Song

Sometimes the more symbolic, the harder it is to know what the writer really meant by it.There are songs that I think are very symbolic, but I'm not always sure I have the correct interpretation. One song that I wonder about is "Wildflower" by Skylark. I have always associated it with this girl I knew back when it was popular. I could sing it word for word but never thought much about the meaning. Now, if it means what I think it does, it would be VERY ironic.
