Hopefully, one of you will be able to help me with this question. I just finished reading the lyrics to "Your Love" by The Outfield. I've always known that the song was about a guy trying to get an old girlfriend to sleep with him while his current girlfriend is away. However, is it my imagination or do the lyrics seem to be a dialogue between this guy and the girl he wants to bed? It seems to go back and forth from each person's perspective - from the initial request to after the deed is done when he says, "As you leave me, please would you close the door?" Thanks for your help.
