  1. Hard to say really. Overall Fav band, I would have to say one of the following (in no particular order): The Who Pink Floyd Bob Dylan Dave Matthews Bruce Springstein The Cure Creedance Clearwater Revival Overall favorite song of all time: Miracles - Jefferson Starship (By a longshot) My favorite intro to a song: Steely Dan - "Do it again" (By a longshot) Fav. inspirational song: Van Morrison - "Did Ye Get Healed" Fav. sad song: Fleetwood Mac - "Songbird" Fav. Singers: Marty Balin, Van Morrison, Mickey Thomas, and others. -Scott
  2. With the exception of actual tears, I feel the most saddened and compassionate about some of these songs... although there are many more I would list, these correspond to my memory right now: Songbird - Fleetwood Mac Wild Horses - The Sundays Vincent - Don McClain Hearts and Bones - Paul Simon Black Balloon - Goo Goo Dolls Joey - Concrete Blonde
  3. Coldplay, Korn, and most definitely Limp biscuits... just to name a few. However, above and beyond those guys... Nickleback takes the crown for most annoying BS to be released in music today. If I have to hear that pseudo Rod Stewart growl-whine to another song about how tragic this spoon-fed chumps life is/was I am going to scream myself into a scratching, screeching whinebot and cover his songs in my local bar scene to all the retards who actually think it sounds good. These guys are a total joke IMHO, or maybe I am just getting old. /shrug -Scott
  4. Marty Balin wailing "so would I" near the end of "Miracles" (Jefferson Starship). The guy has a speech impediment and sings like an angel. The vocals, harmony and fluidity of that song is (IMHO) unmatched. Note: Be sure to listen to the complete version of the song which is over 5 minutes...and not the cropped version they play on the radio... it means a world of difference. -Scott
  5. I have ran across SO many songs I would like to comment on and/or add to this wonderful site for music lovers. How do I go about adding a band or song that is not already included in the database? Some of what I would add: Big Head Todd and the monsters Ambrosia Definitely more songs by The Cure etc... Lemme know, I'd love to add to this wealth of knowledge. -Scott
