  1. Does Throbbing Gristle and early Cabaret Voltaire count as strange? I know NON/Boyd Rice would most definitely count as etrange That Noise and tape loop stuff, you know?
  2. I have a compilation called Bombay The Hard Way: Guns, Cars, And Sitars. It's music from Bollywood films... very catchy, but seldom heard on this side of the world.
  3. She had sex with a teenager.
  4. Touche. At this point, I get more entertainment from reading the reviews and synopses
  5. Doesn't she have to register as a "sex offender" for the rest of her life? Talk about a draconian punishment, right there.
  6. No better than Equilibrium... and that movie was the worst of this century. What we're left with is an oversimplified version of dystopian films relying heavily on the tired, old "Fascist govt. = evil" and "renegade/rebel = good". It would've been a change of pace had the directors and screenwriters actually bothered to think of a proper way of adapting the comic book, which in its all-two-dimensional-glory has far more profound ideas within it (i.e. at one point, one is left wondering whether the "hero" is actually a good guy or a bad guy). I'm surprised it's doing as good as it is and that it gets any praise at all - almost as if viewers weren't aware there is already a THX-1138, a Fahrenheit 451, and a 1984 out there.
  7. I'd imagine that anything by Roxy Music or Bryan Ferry would be easily liked by lots of people. Try the album Avalon
  8. It's by a male vocalist. I know one line from the lyrics to it and I cannot depend on the powers of Google to get me outta this one. Alright, here goes: There is something going on that I should know about you and me... I wanna say it's Howard Jones, but I'm not sure. I'll give ye an eyetooth if you know the song... been lookin for it for a couple of years
