Elton John - White Lady White Powder
Frenzal Rhomb - Bucket Bong
Probably not the best songs ever, but they're good. The first one is anyway.

Billy Bragg & Wilco - California Stars

My favourites in Spanish are the ones by Nat King Cole, particularly 'Acercate Mas' and 'Ansiedad', but any of the Nat King Cole songs are great.

Hi all... I am new to this forum but I just wanted to add the lyrics for this song - as best as I can decipher them - I heard it on the radio today and I really like it.
Mike McClellan - The One I Love
I don't care for dancing and I'm not much for talk
At least I've never been that way
I know it's not easy to understand my ways
And there's so much I oughta say
When I'm standing right before you, I feel like a fool
Blinded by the light in his eyes
No the love light steals the dark night of it's soul
And the one I love she shines like silver
The one I love she glows like moonlight
The one I love is warm like sunshine
The one I love
Yes, the one I love she shines like silver
The one I love she glows like moonlight
The one I love is warm like sunshine
The one I love
I don't care for parties and I like the quiet life
And I've never felt at ease in a crowd
I've never found it easy to live the way I do
Sometimes the songs are the only time I think out loud
When I'm standing right before you I feel like a fool
Who never finds the right words to say
No, this chance goes with the last dance of the night
The one I love she shines like silver
The one I love she glows like moonlight
The one I love is warm like sunshine
The one I love
When I'm standing right before you I feel like a fool
Who never finds the right words to say
No, this chance goes with the last dance of the night
The one I love she shines like silver
The one I love she glows like moonlight
The one I love is warm like sunshine
The one I love
Yes, one I love she shines like silver
The one I love she glows like moonlight
The one I love is warm like sunshine
The one I love
Sufjan Stevens Sample

Hi all, I recently heard a song by Sufjan Stevens from his album 'Illinoise'; track 3 called 'Come On Feel the Illinoise'. When it hits the second act at about 4 minutes in, I think there's a sample in there - it sounds awfully familiar - but I can't pick it for the life of me.
I can't conciously recall having heard this album or this song before, but it sounds so familiar like something I've heard many times before. I could be wrong but if anyone has any insight or if the kind of three-step melody thing followed by flute rings bells for you I'd love help with this one, it's gonna drive me nuts until I figure it out! Thanks!
