  2. Like. They are almost as cute as Lemurs
  3. Anyone else besides me picking up a brick from Satriale's?
  4. Good to hear I'm not the only one.
  5. The Who, hands down. First of all, they were able to think of names for all of their albums, so that's a plus. Secondly, as someone mentioned before, you can get tired of Zepplin easily. I have been turned on to both groups for the same amount of time, and I have to say that The Who are the ones who I will listen to when given the choice. I would say that there are probably about ten bands that I would pick before Zeppelin. After a while it seems like a lot of Zep sounds the same, but with The Who almost all of the songs are unique in their own way. I alos think my desicion may be marred by the amount of recognition that Led Zeppelin gets for Stairway. I do not think it is the number one song of all time (jury is still out for me on that) or the best solo (Comfortably Numb). So, in closing, it's The Who.
  6. Connor is uncultured. He is mentally prepared for his "dorking."
  7. I love that story. An update to mine: 2006- O.A.R. Das Who 2007- Steely Dan Dave Matthews Band O.A.R. Hopefully Phil Lesh
  8. I found it! I typed in "best guitar riffs" on Google, found an article from the BBC, and it was Layla by Derek/Clapton. I'm pumped.
  9. None at all. I think it is because they were mostly unintelligable. It was the guitar that stuck with me. If I hear it I'll know it.
  10. This song might be impossible to find, but I'm going to try. I was listening to a classic rock station today and I heard it. If I remember, the entire song is the same guitar played over again. The first part is seven or eight notes, fairly low pitch, and almost immediatly after a higher pitch guitar plays at twice the speed, also seven notes, but a different melody. Then the original guitar repeats, only this time the third note is much higher. Finally, the second guitar repeats what it first played. Again, it is classic rock and stuck in my head. I would try singing it and posting it but I don't know how. My computer does have a microphone, I just wouldn't know how to post it. Any help would be great.
  11. One of my favorites: Karl, Gustav Johann Gambolputty de von Ausfer-scheplenden-schlitter-crasscrenbon-fried-digger- dingle-dangle-dongle-dungle-burstein-von-knacker-thrasher- apple-banger-horwitz-ticolensic-grander-knotty-spelltinkle- grandlich-grumblemeyer-spelterwasser-kurstlich-himbleeisen- bahnwagen-gutenabend-bitte-ein-nurnburger-bratwustle- gernspurten-mitz-weimache-luber-hundsfut-gumberaber- shonedanker-kalbsfleisch-mittler-aucher von Hautkopft of Ulm
  12. Saw "The Wind That Shakes The Barley," a period peace about the IRA in the early 1920's. It's an in your face look at the situation and it pulls not punches. Very emotional and well done, and I think it's a must see for anyone interested in the topic. 9/10.
  13. I went to ESPN studios in Bristol, Connecticut today. I was waiting in the lobby for the tour to start, and in a matter of 5 minutes (yes, 5 minutes) I was within 10 feet of Howie Schwab, Mike Golic, Garth Brooks and Jon Bon Jovi. It was surreal. I got to take a tour and I saw so many different people that I recognized. It was crazy. My only disappointment was the abscence of my broadcasting idol, Kenny Mayne. However, it was a good day.
  14. He says it whenever he has an interview, that his stage act is just that, a stage act. When he's not performing he's really just a normal guy.
  15. I'm just emphasizing the emo to annoy people. I wasn't really serious.
  16. Either that or gradually becoming more and more emo...
  17. So far For Spidey: 1 (You have to see the movie for it to count) Against Emo-Man: 3
  18. The only emotion I got from this movie was hapiness when it was over, and laughter from the corniness. When he walks around New York (which takes up about ten minutes of film) he points at every single women and doesn't realize that most don't appreciate an skinny, nerdy white kid with a emo haircut. Mature? I think not. Snakes On A Plane is amazing because they are making fun of themselves. It is a purposely bad movie. Spiderman 3, on the other hand, thinks their awesome but don't realize that after they are just making the most cliqued Spiderman movie possible. How many times can people fall out of buildings in one movie? (It should be noted that I'm not really that serious. I respect everyones opinion but think this movie should be exposed as the flaming bag of dog doo that it i).
  19. I'm sorry. I should have been more specific. Does anyoe besides Fintan enjoy this movie, or does he just have really bad taste?
  20. Anyone actually like Spiderman 3?
