  1. Let the wind behind you always be your own.
  2. Me and my big mouth. I'm getting killed! Shaun Alexander chose a very bad time to break his foot. Doesn't he realize how many fantasy teams he's affecting? No Alexander means no run for the Seahawks, which turns them one dimensional, which you can't be against a team like Chicago. For the sake of my fantasy team, and more importantly, the Seahawks, Alexander needs to heal!
  3. Uhoh, better push the button.

  6. I won't be doing costumes this year, because I'm "too old" (that's my mom speaking, not me). Plus, I don't think I can top last year's costume:
  7. I'm looking forward to being 4-0 after this weekend.
  8. 7. "Thunderstuck"- AC/DC 9. "Enter Sandman"- Metallica
  9. Well, I love Skynyrd, but I can't stand Sweet Home Alabama. As a rebuttal to Neil Young's "Southern Man", a scathing commentary on rascism in the south, it strikes me as a blind lie. Saying that Young was wrong about that issue was just, well, wrong! I'll get off my soapbox now and say the rest of the ten is great.
  10. She's mainly a solo artist. She sometimes works with a backup band called Immigrant Soul. She was also featured in Riverdance: Lord of the Dance.
  11. Errr hi! I don't believe we've met, Amy. Welcome back from wherever it was you were!
  12. Well, by including The Clash in your list, you're giving a sideways nod to the Sex Pistols. Joe Strummer was in a pub rock band called The 101'ers, but broke the band up after seeing the Sex Pistols and realizing the rock he had been playing was dead, and punk was the future. Sure, The Clash played completely different punk than the Sex Pistols, but there probably wouldn't be a Clash without them. Just thought I'd point that out.
  13. Well give Eileen Ivers a shot. She's basically the Hendrix of Irish fiddle.
  14. 1. "Rocks Off"- Rolling Stones 2. "Time"- Pink Floyd 3. "Let it Bleed"- Rolling Stones 4. "I'm Free"- The Who 5. "Ring of Fire"- Johnny Cash 6. "Satisfaction"- Rolling Stones 7. "Hey Jude"- The Beatles 8. "Maybelline"- Chuck Berry 9. "Where is my Mind?"- Pixies 10. "Karma Police"- Radiohead
  15. I used to steal them from my friends.
  16. Yup, that's the Man in Black. It's called "One Piece at a Time".
  17. Well, I left Kentucky back in '49 An' went to Detroit workin' on a 'sembly line The first year they had me puttin' wheels on cadillacs Every day I'd watch them beauties roll by And sometimes I'd hang my head and cry 'Cause I always wanted me one that was long and black. One day I devised myself a plan That should be the envy of most any man I'd sneak it out of there in a lunchbox in my hand Now gettin' caught meant gettin' fired But I figured I'd have it all by the time I retired I'd have me a car worth at least a hundred grand. [CHORUS] I'd get it one piece at a time And it wouldn't cost me a dime You'll know it's me when I come through your town I'm gonna ride around in style I'm gonna drive everybody wild 'Cause I'll have the only one there is a round. So the very next day when I punched in With my big lunchbox and with help from my friends I left that day with a lunch box full of gears Now, I never considered myself a thief GM wouldn't miss just one little piece Especially if I strung it out over several years. The first day I got me a fuel pump And the next day I got me an engine and a trunk Then I got me a transmission and all of the chrome The little things I could get in my big lunchbox Like nuts, an' bolts, and all four shocks But the big stuff we snuck out in my buddy's mobile home. Now, up to now my plan went all right 'Til we tried to put it all together one night And that's when we noticed that something was definitely wrong. The transmission was a '53 And the motor turned out to be a '73 And when we tried to put in the bolts all the holes were gone. So we drilled it out so that it would fit And with a little bit of help with an A-daptor kit We had that engine runnin' just like a song Now the headlight' was another sight We had two on the left and one on the right But when we pulled out the switch all three of 'em come on. The back end looked kinda funny too But we put it together and when we got thru Well, that's when we noticed that we only had one tail-fin About that time my wife walked out And I could see in her eyes that she had her doubts But she opened the door and said "Honey, take me for a spin." So we drove up town just to get the tags And I headed her right on down main drag I could hear everybody laughin' for blocks around But up there at the court house they didn't laugh 'Cause to type it up it took the whole staff And when they got through the title weighed sixty pounds. [CHORUS] I got it one piece at a time And it didn't cost me a dime You'll know it's me when I come through your town I'm gonna ride around in style I'm gonna drive everybody wild 'Cause I'll have the only one there is around. [spoken] Ugh! Yow, RED RYDER This is the COTTON MOUTH In the PSYCHO-BILLY CADILLAC Come on Huh, This is the COTTON MOUTH And negatory on the cost of this mow-chine there RED RYDER You might say I went right up to the factory And picked it up, it's cheaper that way Ugh!, what model is it?

  20. I recently discovered The Rapture through MySpace. They're fun to dance to!
  21. Of course, when we're trying to get the big classic rock names nominated I go with an alternative song and a 50's song. Oh well.
  22. "Where Is My Mind?"- The Pixies "Maybelline"- Chuck Berry
  23. Oh man, imagine if that came knockin' at your door. *shudders*
  24. Well I've been able to listen to the songs you listed off of OK Computer and every song off of The Bends (except My Iron Lung and Black Star, which wouldn't play). I'm extremely impressed. My favorite so far is "Street Spirit (Fade Out)". Thanks again for the advice!
