  1. I am looking to make a custom cd as a gift for someone. I can burn my own CD on my computer but I want something a little more professional looking. I see that walmart.com has a service that provides customized CD's with artwork that looks very professional, but they don't have all the songs I am looking for. I have searched around, but I can't seem to find any other places that do this. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
  2. Guantanamera- The Sand Pipers Do You Want Me- Salt n Pepa Both songs have spoken parts about halfway through them.
  3. I'm looking for a song with the following lyrics: Seas will rise, cities catch fire, skies are falling. Walked a spell with you. Close your eyes, hand in mine. Hold on tight. Stay for awhile. Chorus In the middle of the night (repeated several times) It is a female or female group (sounds a little like the lead singer of Fine Frenzy or Everything But the Girl). I think it's a newer song. I've heard it a few times this summer on a muzak station in a store, but never on the radio. Thanks in advance for any help.
  4. thank you so much. that's the title and artist. everytime i looked for the song i kept getting the drifters or dido song. thanks again.
  5. I'm looking for a song with the lyrics "I've still got sand in my shoes and some rythym and blues to remind me of where i've been". It is sung by a male singer or a male group. It is pretty upbeat. It is NOT the song "Sand in my Shoes" by the Drifters or Dido. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Any good "Michelle" songs out there? I have "Michelle" by the Beatles and "My Michelle" by Guns and Roses. Any others? They don't have to have Michelle in the title, just as long as they make a reference to the name somewhere in the song. Thanks in advance.
  7. I didn't know "I Heard A Rumor" was a cover....who did the original?...I always thought Bananarama did the original version...they did do a lot of covers...one that hasn't been mentioned yet, but is a good one is "He Was Really Sayin' Somethin'"
  8. that's the song! - "The Wheel" by Roseanne Cash. I couldn't find it because I kept looking for "wheels", rather than "wheel"....thanks so much!
  9. it's not either of the joni mitchell or b*witched songs...but thanks for your help
  10. thanks for the quick replies...it's not "Long Train Runnin"...i'm familiar with that song...it's a slow song that would probably be played on a soft rock/ lite music station, although i've never heard the song on the radio...i've heard it in the supermarket and department stores a few times.
  11. I'm looking for a song by a female vocalist or group...it is a soft rock song, similar to Karla Bonoff, Expose, Everything But The Girl, etc....some of the words are: "and the wheels go round and round"...anyone have any ideas?...thanks in advance.
  12. I finally found out the song! It is "Arianne" by Kyle Vincent. It is on his self-titled CD from 1997 (available at amazon.com). Today at work, a friend told me the name/artist when i told him some of the lyrics. I couldn't believe he knew the name/artist of this song that had been a mystery for years.
  13. I am looking for the title/artist of a song that samples the drumbeat from the beginning of "Sweet Pea". The drumbeat is sampled throughout the song. That is basically all the information I have. Anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance.
  14. Does anyone know where I can get the version of "Open Your Heart" that is used in the video? It is almost identical to the album version, except that it has a 17 second intro that is not on any cd i could find. Anyone know what I am talking about and where I could find this? Thanks in advance.
