  2. Nothing there for good old regular rock n roll? I think that's what most people here like. I listen to rock, pop, R&B, some dance stuff so what does that say? I'm confused? Where I live, there are three main radio stations, one classic rock, one Top 40 and one Adult Contemporary and I find myself switching amongst all three depending on what I'm in the mood for. Right now, it's classic rock...
  3. I use letssingit.com, but it does bombard you with pop-ups. You can put in a string of words, then use the drop down box next to it and choose "lyrics". I have found a few songs that way.
  4. The Heat is On - Glen Frey
  5. 56 Hope Road - Sugar Ray I Can't Drive 55 - Sammy Hagar Come on, let's keep it going.
  6. Here are some album tracks I like: Face of the Nation - John Cougar Mellencamp (Lonesome Jubilee) Honeybee - Tom Petty (Wildflowers) Just A Fantasy - Billy Joel (Glass Houses) Start the Fire - No Doubt (Rock Steady)
  7. It's not a bad song, but it sounds a lot like all their other stuff.
  8. Pink Floyd AC/DC The Beastie Boys Guns n Roses Nirvana I don't hate them, but I just don't get as excited by them as everyone else does....like Carole said, most of their songs aren't my cup of tea.
  9. Is it November Rain by GNR? IMO, not the greatest song or video....
  10. I know it's cheesy, but maybe "Through the Years" by Kenny Rogers. You could also try "Circle of Life" from the Lion King I thought of two more that aren't so cheesy: This is the Time - Billy Joel Those Were the Days of Our Life - Queen
  11. In this game, we can use song titles, artist names or even snippets of song lyrics that contain a number. The catch, we have to count down from 100 to 1. If we get stuck, we can resort to the old "99 bottles of beer on the wall..." to get us past that number. I'll start at 100: 100 years - Five for Fighting Next person start at 99, and we'll go from there
  12. TP recently posted a song on the "Rap is Crap" board by the Black Eyed Peas called "Where is the Love?" It's not a protest song, but it laments the state of the world. Also, "Calling All Angels" by Train is a comment on the general state of things in the world as well.
  13. Nice to help out a fellow New Jerseyan!
  14. After a little searching, I think it may be "Walkie Talkie Man" by Stereogram
  15. That's exactly how it is. We both are the type who like to have alone time, but we enjoy our time together. We can be sitting in a room together, each reading a magazine and feel completely comfortable in the silence.
