  1. Hope this isn't too late, but a VERY good generic song (not just for daddy's) is Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. I did my father/daughter dance at our wedding to this and my fatehr is 100% country, but like this just the same. Another more generic, but awesome, nostalgia song is Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole...you've probably heard this already either on ER or on commercials for Toys 'r Us.com or Ivory soap...it's a very nice sounding tenor playing the uke and singing the classic tune. It makes me cry...
  2. Hi all. I heard a very sappy song today on my way home from work. I know few lyrics (and probably not even correct) and have no idea who sings it. Basically, the singer (a male) states at one point that she is his forever love...though I can not find anything close matching this title. He then goes on to imply that she's dead but can lift him up to heaven as it's only a breath away. He also makes reference to the fact that she has died...not that it's Christian contemp. I should also mention that while he is singing, he is singing it as first person...so he never refers to "she," rather "you." Any ideas? Please help. Thanks, Mandalynn
