Just finished watching the Back to the Future trilogy on Bluray, it was amazing! Haven't seen those movies in ages!

I don't believe the Inception hype . . . but I still loved the hell out of that movie. Just saw The Green Hornet. It was awesome. There were a lot of direct references to the original radio series and the TV series with Bruce Lee. I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. I'd give it a solid 8/10.

Batman Begins wasn't the best movie, but it served its purpose. And that purpose was to get the taste of Batman and Robin out of our mouths.

My high school English teacher taught us Huck fin because it was banned at our school. Same thing with The Catcher in the Rye and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. And I feel like I've grown as a person BECAUSE of reading those books. My English teacher told us, "If nobody wants to ban your book, you didn't do it right." Just the fact that people are so up in arms about one word means that the book did exactly what Twain wanted it to.

I've been following the news stories about NewSouth books cramming their moral agenda down America's throat. For those who don't know, they've taken it upon themselves to release a "cleaned up" version of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. It has me so mad I can't see straight. What's next? Taking the penis jokes out of Shakespeare's Macbeth? Or making Nurse Ratched from One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest a "woman in charge" instead of a ballcutter? Yeah, I was watching the news on break and there was a report about the first homocide in Topeka on the screen. I was like, "Hey my cousin's crazy ex wife lives there." And about that time her picture came up and they said that she did it. It sucks that the guy died, but at least my cousin's kids won't come home beaten, filthy, and in obviously neglected anymore. So, yeah. I used to be babysat by a murderer.

The news that was on in the breakroom at work tonight sweetens my coffee. The first homocide of the new year was committed by my cousin's ex-wife who he has been in a very heated custody battle with. . . So I'm pretty sure this will have a positive outcome on the proceedings. I'm still sorry for the. Other family's loss though. It's rather bittersweet, really.

I sure hope so. I've talked to so many idiots today I swear my IQ has dropped 50 points.

What grinds my gears? I do. I hate myself right now for signing up for three 12 hour shifts in a row. That overtime pay was just so tempting.

Well, if you're filling it out online at www.fafsa.gov, make sure you review the compatible browser list. I've been getting calls all week from people who are trying to use Google chrome to fill it out. It will let them get all the way to the end but won't let them sign. I love people who don't read the directions . . . it gives me job security.

Stupid people who call into my work and don't know their own social security numbers. . . Oh, what's that? You're 24, applying to Stanford, don't know your own SSN and think Atlanta is a state? Have fun at college. Nothing like working for FAFSA customer support . . .

I just watched Tron Legacy and I really don't understand what all the hate is about. As a die hard fan of the original film I was more than excited for the new one and I wasn't disappointed at all! I loved it! The music by Daft Punk was the best part. 8/10
