I'm sure I'll get around to it. My fiance surprised me this morning with the complete works of H.P. Lovecraft! She works at a bookstore in town and someone was trading them in. So, she bought them for me before they made it to the shelf.

Just finished reading The Call of Cthulhu by H.P. Lovecraft. No matter how many times I read that story, it still scares the hell out of me. Lovecraft is by far the best horror writer ever. I'd give it 10/10

The Indiana Jones logo is the best! And so is the tagline: "If adventure has a name it's Indiana Jones!"

To quote Courtney Taylor-Taylor of the Dandy Warhols: "Every frame of Coraline is a beautiful work of art, but when put together, it's really quite boring" I agree. But it really is quite amazing to look at . . . especially on Blu-Ray

As a math nerd, I have to applaud you on using the correct plural of Matrix. That said, The Matrix was awesome and groundbreaking in terms of how movies are shot (seriously, name an action movie from the past 10 years that didn't use bullet time) . . . but the other two were pretty much terrible. Even Monica Bellucci's monster cleavage couldn't save the sequels . . .

Went to see Thor. It's actually quite good if you can watch it without thinking about Norse mythology (which I happen to be a big fan of) or the comics it was based on (which I happen to be a big fan of). But the guy they got to play Loki was, hands down, the best actor in the movie. I'd give it a 7/10 6/10 for the movie itself And then I give it an extra point for the Green Lantern trailer at the starting.

Writing my Composition II final paper in the two hours before class and being one point off from a perfect score. I missed a comma.

Well, I must have overlooked it somehow . . . my powers of observation are notoriously bad.

I got a Russian caller at work asking for help with his FAFSA application . . . It went something like this: "Aye dunt oondur-stund thee qwesh-tun . . . Aye em noot nay-tev Anglesh spe-kar . ." Really? I had no idea . . . you nailed the accent. Anywho, it always makes me laugh when immigrants have to explain five times that they are not native English speakers.
