  1. Sliver - Nirvana

    Mom and dad went to a show

    Dropped me off at Grandpa Joe's.

    I kicked and screamed said please don't go

    Grandma, take me home. {x8}

    Had to eat my dinner there.

    I had mashed potatos and stuff like that.

    I couldn't chew my meat to good.

    Grandma, take me home. {x8}

    She said "why dont you stop your crying?

    Go outside and ride your bike."

    Thats what i did, i killed my toe.

    Grandma, take me home. {x8}

    After dinner, I had ice cream.

    I fell asleep and watched TV.

    I woke up in my mother's arms...

    Grandma, take me home. {x19}

    I want to be alone.

  2. 1. Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin.

    2. Hotel California - The Eagles.

    3. Layla - Eric Clapton.

    4. Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen.

    5. All Along The Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix.

    I've thought about it for a while and my number 6 is:

    *Subject to change.

  3. Yeah, I know, there are many threads like this one. But I think defining your top 5 is easier than your top 10. I struggle with my top10 and just pick the wrong songs, so here's my defenite top 5 songs of all time.

    What are yours?!.

    1. Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin.

    2. Hotel California - The Eagles.

    3. Layla - Eric Clapton.

    4. Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen.

    5. All Along The Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix.

  4. I think its too hard to give a top 10. After you get past 5, you get stuck and just pick songs you like, not your fave really, so here's my defenite top 5 (In order).

    1. Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin.

    2. Hotel California - The Eagles.

    3. Layla - Eric Clapton.

    4. Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen.

    5. All Along The Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix.

  5. I have the album with that song on it. Thanks for reminding me, I'll go listen to it sometime now.

    And yes, they are a Christian band.

    Kiss me,

    out on the bearded barley,

    lightly, beside the green, green, grass.

    Swing, swing, swing the spinning step,

    you wear those shoes and I will wear that dress.

    Oh, kiss me, beneath the milky twilight.

    Lead me out on the moonlit floor,

    lift your open hand,

    strike up the band and make the fireflies dance,

    the silver moon sparkling...so kiss me.

    Kiss me,

    down by the broken treehouse.

    Swing me up on this hanging tire.

    Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat,

    we'll take the trail marked on your father's map.

    Oh, kiss me, beneath the milky twilight.

    Lead me, out on the moonlit floor,

    lift your open hand,

    strike up the band and make the fireflies dance,

    the silver moon sparkling...so kiss me.

    Kiss me, beneath the milky twilight.

    Lead me, out on the moonlit floor,

    lift your open hand,

    strike up the band and make the fireflies dance,

    the silver moon sparkling...so kiss me.

    So kiss me...

    So kiss me...

    So kiss me...

    The singer is not lesbian, or is her lover gay, so I don't know what's up with the line

    "Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat,

    we'll take the trail marked on your father's map".

    It doesn't necessarily mean that there's flowers in the hat.
