Karhul, has it not registered to you that people write songs because they want to express a strong emotion that is troubling them and this is their only outlet? They can write as many sad/angry/ "negative" songs as they want, it has nothing to do with Christianity or any religion if you're angry or not.

RHCP did team up with Nirvana and played Smells Like Teen Spirit. But Kurt was still singing but it did have Flea on trumpet, it rocked. I would like to see Nirvana do a cover of I should Feel So Lucky-Kylie Somehow i think sarcasm could take over that song. :rockon:cheese

I don't know why but i find Fear Of The Dark-Iron Maiden really sad. It could be just because the beginning is so beautiful with all the ooooh's but i know it as "the pretty song" which annoys my friend who is a hardcore Iron Maiden fan greatly.

I liked it, i don't think it was as good as some of your other stuff but in comparison to many other pieces of writing that have graced this board, it was good. (meaning no offence to others, i just want peace on this forum *starts humming*)

YES! sooooooooo overrated! i hated that film.

I went to see Green Day on friday night and it rocked! I have so many bruises I can barely stand up, it was my first standing concert and i got crushed during "American Idiot" and "Jesus Of Suburbia". I fell over during New Found Glory who were supporting them, it was super scary ::. They were absolutely fantastic, Billie Joe kept insulting Bush after every song, it was hilarious. They played "We Are The Champions" as their cover and ran "Shout" into their song "King For A Day". The best part was, seeing as it was my best friend's birthday present, i didn't have to pay and my sister who bought hers last minute on Ebay paid £80!

Constructive criticism? It's a bit cliched. Try spending more time on it and think over better ways to phrase the love you feel for the girl. You'll be a lot prouder of it if you spend lots of time working on it to get it perfect.

Scott, i like the way you choose subjects that are not used very often on these boards for your writing, i really enjoyed that poem.
