thanks muchly for your help... im beginning to conclude that the first covers were thanks to Steinweiss? seem reasonable? im admiring the work of roger dean and storm thorgerson at the moment, slightly more recent but masters in their fields nonetheless! i think so anyway. just been to see an exhibition of the latter and his work for pink floyd (and muse!) is truly surreal! well thanks for your help again! does anyone know what the first album cover ever designed is? need to find out... but its proving difficult!
