  6. I had originally wrote the chorus of this song as a bridge to another song, but it didn't fit, so I came up with some verse and another bridge and there it is... Indecisions? Written: October 21,2004 Verse 1 Everything?s so critical, People so analytical. Analyzing what we have, Analyzing what we did. Nothing can be worded right, Obstacles just cloud our sight We have to look at what we had We have to look somewhere within Chorus These clouds of indecision, are now moving on. Past through my mind, they seem to be gone. Left me finally, finally left today. Leaving my thoughts in everyway. It seems forgotten but not is the least. I must remember I?ve accomplished this feat. To laugh, to cry, it?s all memory. Living in you, living in you, living in me Verse 2 Nothing can be crucial. Your actions so spatial. Actions created by this fear. Actions created from this lie. Everything must be motivated. Objectives can?t be complicated. In comparison to what is here, We have to see the way it all goes by. Chorus These clouds of indecision, are now moving on. Past through my mind, they seem to be gone. Left me finally, finally left today. Leaving my thoughts in everyway. It seems forgotten but not is the least. I must remember I?ve accomplished this feat. To laugh, to cry, it?s all memory. Living in you, living in you, living in me Bridge What can I do To get through to you, To let you know how I feel, To let you know, I must heal. Pain has emerged and struck my heart Ripping my life apart. I?ve tried to look another way, Instead it made me weak and frail. So please help me, give me your hand, I know that you?ll understand. Living in you, living in you, living in me It?s now living in me? {{{END}}} By Robert Blackburn

  8. Great job, I love the second part of the song....
  9. Here's a contribution to the song.... Tripped and stumbled and fell down off my wall... Off my perch, yet not far from it all....
  10. Hey if you guys would like to hear three of my songs, add me to your msn, and I'll send them to you.... demonic_cswf@hotmail.com... Thanks for the support... Robert
  11. Mairi I enjoy reading your poems, they bring that negative light that we've all seen or heard before, great description...
  12. Gillian, I really feel something for those verses, or the poem. I have a friend who is in the same situation and I wrote and recorded a song about the situation.... Tears to my eyes, and a tuf at my heart is what that brought to me. Great job...
  13. I really have no recspect for artists who do the lipsync stuff. As you know it's predominant in today's "pop" music. Most rock artists whether they be male or female, sing, rather than have a tape play. I have so mushc recpect for the bands who do go out there and sing....
  14. Verse 1 In, in life, one seeks eternal bliss, Complete promises sealed with a kiss, Our soul?s seek reverence, refuge from the pain, As if it were mindless foreshadowed shame?. Chorus Life?s about triumph, about inevitable defeatm It?s about experience, love and deceit, In the end, when all is said and done, Happiness is just where you left it, in the one.. Verse 2 If light had no light, to worship, to love, Would be all be blind? Could we see what?s above? This question must be read between the lines. Between our sun, our moon, our star?s in the sky. Chorus Life?s about triumph, about inevitable defeatm It?s about experience, love and deceit, In the end, when all is said and done, Happiness is just where you left it, in the one.. Verse 3 Our earth is shimmering with bright lights, Scattered with hope, just in our sights. Although life can be stressful at times, Life is to love, just be aware of the signs. Chorus Life?s about triumph, about inevitable defeatm It?s about experience, love and deceit, In the end, when all is said and done, Happiness is just where you left it, in the one.. END This song stemmed from a poem that I wrote this summer, while at my ex's cottage. I don't know where it came from. It's been sitting in my drawer, dormant, so I wrote it out and modified it.
  15. I've converted them to MP3's but I can't get them on the web.

Good job I liked how you didn't really rely on ryhming which is really cool. Great job!
  17. Man, I know I wrote that Lonely Road was the best song, but that song takes the cake, I really, really, really, like it. It's got such a great vibe, I think it runs very smoothly, I love it, keep it up.
  18. I'll say lonely road. Mark, all of your songs, bright light to some scenario which is great. Your music will only improve and you know it. Keep up the work. Robert
  19. I love this man, the words flow and your vocab is great, if you sing, that would be just great, or if it had a tune, looks good man.
  20. Yeah third song of the day, but anyhow, this song reflects the feelings I possessed when I was in my relationship. After writing countless melodies on the pain, I thought that I should look back and smile. I took those feelings and this is what I came up with. It'll be acoustic no doubt. Thanks for reading!! Written: September 13/2004 Anything Verse 1 I remember, the night that we met, that rush of excitement. Lost in those eyes, I?ll never forget. Your figure, your form, flawless indeed I am deserving, your just what I need Chorus I?m left breathless Willing to do Anything for us, Anything for you, I?m left living Beside you each day, Blessed with this feeling That won?t dissipate. Verse 2 I remember, we?d dance in the sand, Look eye-to-eye, be hand-in-hand. Your motions so calming, your confidence true. You made it easy, for me to love you. Chorus I?m left breathless Willing to do Anything for us, Anything for you, I?m left living Beside you each day, Blessed with this feeling That won?t dissipate. Verse 3 You remember, the time that you said, I can?t get you off my mind, out of my head. This love that I share, it?s existence is pure, I needed love, you opened that door. Chorus I?m left breathless Willing to do Anything for us, Anything for you, I?m left living Beside you each day, Blessed with this feeling That won?t dissipate. That won?t go away {{{{End}}}} By Robert Blackburn
  21. Mirage Verse 1 As we lay in this bed, ready to sleep. Are there secrets that your willing to keep? To hide in the darkness, away from the light. Away from my vision, away from my sight. Pre-Chorus Is this how it ends? Was this how it ends? I guess. This is how it ends. Chorus I loved you with all of my heart. I adored you, but it fell apart. Now I?m empty, alone and afraid. Left in the past not willing to change Verse 2 As I lay here, alone in my bed. All these memories back in my head. I think of the times, the good and the bad. Reminisce on what we were on what we had. Pre-Chorus Is this how it ends? Was this how it ends? I guess. This is how it ends. Chorus I loved you with all of my heart. I adored you, but it fell apart. Now I?m empty, alone and afraid. Left in the past not willing to change Bridge Life is moving, away from me. Into a path of constant misery. But I know I can do it. Get through the pain. Live this life, day-by-day Remove this mask, so I can see. Have this mirage, burn out of me. Pre-Chorus If this is how it ends? That?s okay, I loved you, you left me, in this pain I guess. This is how it ends. Chorus I loved you with all of my heart. I adored you, but it fell apart. Now I?m empty, alone and afraid. Left in the past not willing to change I wrote this song the night after my girlfriend had broke up with m. I felt bad, and I needed to let it go so I did, and this is how it wrote.
  22. Nothing Like You Verse 1 In my mind a see that place at the end of the road, It?s coming in flowing quick in it?s pace, Misdirected signals, are all that it shows, Spoken indirectly, immediately erased. Pre- Chorus You, you, do it to me, You, Let it, pass through me. Chorus You met me in this place, you placed me in this haze. Now I can?t move on, I?m stuck in this phase. How would you like it! Tell me, how would you? If I ?If I was?.nothing like you. Verse 2 I speak from the heart, in this game of give and take, Spilling my memories inside this mind. Brewing this kindness into equivocal hate. Making me wish this part of me would die. Pre- Chorus You, you, do it to me, You, Let it, pass through me. Chorus You met me in this place, you placed me in this haze. Now I can?t move on, I?m stuck in this phase. How would you like it! Tell me, how would you? If I was?If I was?.nothing like you. Bridge I can view it, see it your eyes. Life is passing you, as if you were blind. But I could help you if I want. Is it all a dream or is it relevant. Extend your arm, I?ll give you my hand. We?ll be together, in our own land. But that can?t happen, there?s no chance. There?s no chance. Pre- Chorus You, you, do it to me, You, Let it, pass through me. Chorus You met me in this place, you placed me in this haze. Now I can?t move on, I?m stuck in this phase. How would you like it! How would you? If I was?If I was?.nothing like you. {{{{End}}}} By Robert Blackburn I wrote this song because someone or something was pissing me off, really.
  23. Yeah, that song is also great, I love how your songs Mark have that overall theme as well as an expressed well thought out meaning. That's what music should be about. Robert Good Work
  24. Thanks, and in response from Natalie, I do sing. I jus last night recorded two of my songs, privately of course and they turned out great. I jus don't have music for all of my 15 or so songs.
