Edna found me at my Twitter (X) site today and it was great to hear from one of my old Songfacts friends. I last posted like three years ago or more. Songfacts was always a great place to hang out.
I hope all is well. Wishing everyone the best. Please comment if you've been away a long time...or even if you've stayed here the whole time. I will check in again soon.

Uncle Joe was surely one of the good guys. Always funny and friendly to everyone. (Thank you to Edna for letting me know about UJ's passing). You know, this Topic is like an actual wake. You don't see family and friends for years until somebody dies...then you realize you miss them all. I do miss you guys.

Carl, Thanks. Of course I follow SongFacts too. I have a lot of fun with it. It's really just the way I'd be talking about music with friends and whoever else is in earshot. The marketing aspect fascinates me too. I like when I figure something out and get a big response. Ron

I'm almost up to 4000 followers and I get some play from some rockers like Tommy James, Eric Carmen, Dave Davies and others.
It's fun for me.

I was wondering if any of the old Songfacts gang (you know who you are) checks in to the site much these days. Every once in while I come back searching for you guys but come up empty. It was a vibrant and crazy place when we all joined close to 15 years ago and it remained that way for a long time. Frankly I miss it. If any of you stop by, leave a comment. I'm kind of invested in X at this point. I've got around 29K followers...though admittedly there are only dozens of regular contributors. Some rockers follow me like Micky Dolenz, Dave Davies and Tommy James. I once got 100's of 1000's of likes on one tweet where Dave Davies responded. But I always liked Songfacts a lot. I even wore my Songfacts tee shirt recently. I'll check in from time to time. Maybe I can drag some followers over. Here's my profile if you care.
