Country Joe and The Fish, Steve Forbert, Arlo Guthrie, Jerry Lee Lewis (Invitation to your party), etc.... Country music is very similar to pop or folk... so you can add Trini Lopez, JJCale, America, Graham Nash, etc.

All right, but that doesn´t answer my question: why BG sang in 1970 a song written two years later and why is it credited to Binge and not to David Gates? Does anybody there know something about it?

Joe Strummer died from heart attack, I don´t know if he also had hep A, B, C, D or whatever. Could be he had the C, which is a very common thing nowadays. It has no symptoms but if he was a heavy drinker or took drugs (which I ignore) it could have become a chyrosis or a liver cancer. It´s a sexual transmission illness in some cases (few) and it´s only contagious through blood, as it seems.

I found a version of Bread´s hit (writen by David gates in 1972) Everything I own performed by boris gardiner and called "Elizabethean reggae", from 1970 and credited to some Binge. Anybody knows anything about it? How comes he made it two years before it was supposed to be written and why has it another name? Sounds like Boy George´s version...

I actually don´t know why or if we shouldn´t post... all I know is we are now in 1970
and that each time we post, the thread goes to the last page of the main thread. I ignore if this is bad or anything, but seems it could be difficult to put the posts back in their previous order if we do... now, is it really true?Pls, can anybody tell us something about it?

Nope, Benita... all the posts are going to the last page in my computer... not only you´re not born and I´m not even in High School but the threads are having a walk all though the whole site! Hope they get tired soon and get back to their previous places!!!

I am posting on the last threads but they go back to bottom again... same as when I post in the first threads... That happens only in "Random Thoughts", "Fun & Games" and this thread... I see we´re back to 1969...

I am French and I was born in Argentina, my mather is French and my father was both Spanish and Argentinian (son of Spanish).
