  2. I think that one of my favorite parts is when he's in the church talking about how coffee and doughnuts have nothing to do with god and jesus and how if god was so concerned about those two things then they were in alot of trouble. I have to say, that made me laugh alot!

  3. "Simon Birch believes that God made him for a special, heroic purpose. Simon and his best friend Joe Wenteworth are both outcasts in their tiny New England town: Joe is the illegitimate son of the town beauty, and Simon, at age 12, is so small that he still plays the infant Jesus in the church Christmas pageant. In the summer of 1964, friendship is put to the test when Little Leaguer Simon hits a foul ball that strikes and kills Joe's mother. Together, they try to find out who Joe's father is. Just as they succeed, the time comes for Simon to fulfill the destiny he believes in. A situation arises that demands a hero - a very small hero." -Anthony Bruce Gilpin

For those of you who have seen it... did you like the movie.. and for those of you who haven't ... does it sound like a movie that you would want to see?

  4. Desserts! Dinners! Snacks! Breakfast even!

Whats your favorite? How do you make it? And how is it special?

Me and Paul made this wonderful spaghetti last night! It was actually Ziti noodles...with Prego Tomato, Basil, and Garlic Sauce. Then, instead of adding Hamburger we took some boneless skinless chicken breasts and cut them up and sauteed them til they were golden brown and then added them to the sauce! It was WONDERFUL! Next time i think Paul is gonna marinade the chicken though.

So...whats your favorite? Or...does your grandma or grandpa or anybody in your family have those famous secret recipes?

Me and paul love to cook, so we would love to know!

  5. Ok, so i'm taking this psychology class and the question came up about which way was the best way for us (as individuals)to learn. Here are some ways... just let me know which one you are... i'm just curious. Also, let me know if you are different that any of these so i can add them to the list.

Linguistic: This type of learner loves to read, write, and tell stories. They tend to memorize places, dates, names, and trivia very easily, and are always mesmerizing you with their incredible tales.

Logical: This child is very mathematically inclined. They enjoy solving problems, particularly if they are math related

Spatial: These are the visualizers. They spend most of the day dreaming, watching movies, and staying as far away from reality as possible

Musical: If your always walking around the house humming a tune, or always need music to study by, then he/she is likely a musical learner

Bodily: This type of learner is always on the move. They constantly walk around, they have to touch everything, and they use body language to convey their feelings

Interpersonal: These are the "social butterflies". They adapt easily to any type of social situation, have many friends and are excellent leaders. They are patient, understanding, and very empathetic, which makes them a favorite among their playmates.

Intrapersonal: These strong willed people work best alone. They pursue their one interests and have a deep understanding of themselves. They pride themselves on being independent and original, and they tend to stand out from the crowd without even trying
