  4. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra has some nice ones... I think they have three Christmas albums out now... Chirstmas Eve In Sarajevo's always been a great instrumental that reminds me of Christmas
  5. Pinball Wizard, Sympathy for the Devil, Behind Blue Eyes :: and Paint It Black are the ones that first come to mind.
  6. The Who mention T.Rex in "You Better You Bet"

  9. Catch-22... :coolio:very cool movie
  10. :)It'd take a very brave soul to separate me from my music
  11. I'd definitely opt for no music for three months... although I think I'd end up singing or humming stuff I liked. That, or I'd end up crazier than I am now! =
  12. Keith Moon I forget, how DID Jim Corce die?
  13. The classic rock station was doing a day of misheard lyrics-- some of the funnier ones were "Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap" by AC/DC and they thought it was "dirty deeds and thunder cheese" but the best one was definitely when someone thought that "Paperback Writer" was "Pay for my Chrysler."
  14. A lot of Stratovarius songs have Finnish stuck in at certain points (as they are a Finnish band)... the one that comes to mind is the live version of "Hunting High and Low" I think... where, right in the middle, the singer, Timo Kotipelto, starts gibbering away in Finnish. What he's saying I have no idea.
  15. There are a lot of interesting things pertaining to this rumour at The Pink Floyd Forum Whether or not it's true, I don't know, but I hope so
  16. If I HAD to say, I'd say "Bridge Over Troubled Water," if only just because of Garfunkel's voice, although there are some Who and Pink Floyd songs that are really really close too =
  17. Granted, it wasn't THAT scary, but what about the part from Wait Until Dark when Alan Arkin jumps out? Freaks you out the first time... ::
  18. The first one that comes to mind is "We're Not Gonna Take It Anymore" by Twisted Sister, the only song of theirs I've heard. "Eve of Destruction" by Barry McGuire is a good war protest song as well... if I'm thinking of the right song...
  19. I'd say "House of the Rising Sun" by The Animals (though I think they had a few other kinda hits...) and "American Pie" by Don McLean
  20. Any and all Simon and Garfunkel albums "Fire of Unknown Origin" Blue Oyster Cult "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Piper at the Gates of Dawn" Pink Floyd (among other albums, those are just personal favorites...) "Who's Next", "Face Dances", and "Quadrophenia" The Who "Aftermath" The Rolling Stones "Out of Order" Rod Stewart "Lost and Gone Forever" and "Goldfly" by Guster
  21. addictedto classic, I totally agree with you on your first post in this thread... whaddaya know, I despise pop music too! =
  22. The Who:bow: Simon and Garfunkel :: Keith Moon--wait, he only had one... and I've never heard a bad Pink Floyd album, but haven't heard them all...
