Thanks for all the great suggestions! Uni pretty much ate me whole this semester and still hasn't quite spat me out yet, but I've made a list so now I can hunt down these songs and start listening

Why is it that girls clothing shops always play quite awful mainstream music? I work in a clothing store and was gonnna make a cd for work but kept having to think about how mainstream and accessible songs are...it's so frustrating.

ha bohemian rhapsody has been my default song for quite a while...it's quite good coz it has a lot of variation...unless you end up with the same part playing on repeat in your head...

Ooooh and I also saw No.2 yesterday on tv...it's a local film based on a play i had already read and i loved it 10/10

I saw Jumper. I enjoyed it, it was pretty good for what it was, and it was fastpaced so the time went by quickly, but at the same time it was just a standard hollywood action film with a love story thrown in for good measure. So it probably gets a 7 from me.

Yeah, as long as text language isn't allowed to creep into formal writing. Last year people here were debating over whether txt language should be allowed in school exams Its as if people forgot that along with learning about particular topics schools also need to teach and enforce basic literacy. ugh, i'm glad to hear that from a who fan...coz i listened to it once and sat there wondering whether it was actually supposed to be good. Then after a couple of weeks i decided that i really should give it another go...and don't think i've listened to it since...
