Realy easy, all you have to do is put down the first word that comes into your head when you read the last one, eg:
Tom --> Jerry --> Mouse --> Rat --> ect.
Just make sure you write the last word in your post, otherwise its just a random collection of words. I'll start, you continue. Game ends when no one can think of another word.
here it is: Food

You will you won't
You do you don't
You're saying you will
But you know you won't
You may you might
Your chest gets tight
You say you love day
But you come out at night
While your thinking, thinking, thinking up a storm in you
All the things you're thinking, are they false, are they true
You know the dipsydoodle rag, it tells no lie
But all the time you're thinking, well you're tricking your mind
You will you won't
You do you don't
You're saying you will
But you know you won't
You may you might
Your chest gets tight
You say you love day
But you come out at night
Well the devil's standing tall on the top of the hill
Pointing down his fork and betraying your will
You gotta make decisions whether old or new
Then god comes from the heavens and he's saying to you
You will you won't
You do you don't
You're saying you will
But you know you won't
You may you might
Your chest gets tight
You say you love day
But you come out at night
Well I've tried so hard
I've tried so hard
To make it right
To make it right
I'm gonna bury my thoughts
And forget all my worries
Tonight
You will you won't
You do you don't
You're saying you will
But you know you won't
You may you might
Your chest gets tight
You say you love day
But you come out at night

Most of this list has either been forgotten about or just plain crap, especially most of the top 10.
I agree, that was my pick also when I entered this thread.
Both T'Pau and Verve had at least one other hit! (China in your Hand, and The Drugs Don't Work, respectivly) Deffinitly an american (notice the contemptual missing capital letter) chart.

I just bout their CD, its a real mix of rock and "traditional" singing, t realy quite good. I hadn't heard of them before i saw the Add on TV, I thinks this is their debue album... any one know anything more?
-
Someone mentioned earlier about Caddys, they're newest release is fantastic! It beats every other executive saloon out there, Mercadese Benze E class, Audi A6 and BMW!
-
I can't beleive that no-one has even mentioned Deep Purple!
-
They're a realy hard rock / grunge band from late eighties through to now, fantasicaly funny lyrics, very satanic, but still a good band. I seem to be one of the only people that has heard of them, has any one out there heard of them? If so, what do you think of thei music?

Brian May Was the guitarist for "Queen"
He played the solo in "We Will Rock You"! REALY long, curly hair!
:guitar: :guitar: :guitar: :guitar: :guitar: :guitar: :guitar:

I don't care what any one says: Brian May is the gratest ever!
he played the British National Anthem on to of Bukingham palace, on electric guitar for the queen! What other guitarist has done than, or the equivelant? :guitar: :guitar: :guitar: :guitar: :guitar: :guitar: :guitar:

Thank you for that burst of synisism (that's not spelt right!) but I think it has more to do with the earth going to explode, a much happier subject, dont you think?
-
There was a rap song I heard once at work. It said "RUN B***H or I'm going to kill you!". I think that's pretty motivating.
If not motivating, then at least Psycotic

I'm only posting top keep the thread at the top of the list! I still have 12 more spaces, and no ones veiwing the thread!

My Dad "claims" that he was at he same school as Ringo Star, I can't remeber what school it was, and I think my dad was making it up.
Having read through what I just wrote, I'm not sure that there was any point in it! Oh well, Im gonna post it anyway, why waste a whole 60 seconds typing someting and then not giving it to the world?
-
I hadn't thought of that one! Good work!
-
If I needed to be motivated to get a job done, then these would go straight into the CD player... Although i'd never finish, becasue I'm changing the CD every three minuets!
Bat Out of Hell, by Meatloaf
Smoke on The Water, by Deep purple
Ready to go, by Republica
When we were the new boys, by Rod Stewart
Power, by Snap (or Yazoo, I can't remember)
She's electric, by Oasis
Faster than the speed of night, by Bonnie Tyler
I have room for 13 more tracks on the CD, you have to fill them!
-
I love Bowie / Ziggy Stardust! Unfortunatley, being 15 years old, that means that very few of my peers have head of him (although I did manage to play some of it on a teacher's laptop!) One thing that has been puzzling me:
In the song "Five Years" What the hell was that about? I'm sure I know, but the answer is lying just out of reach! The other thing was: He uses the phrase "and it's cold, and it rained, so I felt like an actor!" what was that about?
-
These two songs will make you wanna go outside, take the roof down off of your car, and bomb it down the motorway / Freeway (depending on where you are) at 100 mph.
Or fill you with determination for what ever your doing, they were life savers during my GCSEs! :guitar:
Ready to go - Republica
Elevation [Tomb Rader Remix] - U2
-
I think it's much more his answer to Ziggy Stardust, and space Odity 2001, about how the guy was just kida waiting to die after his life line went.
i am open the "Carear" theory though.
Another thing I was wondering about: the line "i'll be high as a kite by then", is that metaphorical?
Rod Stewart

Ok, I have seen some majour Rod Stewart-bashing on this and other sites and I wondered why. As far as I can see he is a great guy. He payed the medical bills of his song-writer (when he was with the faces)when he had multiple sclorosis.
Also, loads of people describe him as a "cover singer". He has only recently covered songs and they were the swing ones for "The American Song Book". Many bands such as Oasis and Stereophonics have convered songs like Handbags and Gladrags. They have done good versions, and well done, but I don't think Rod should be labled a cover singer when he wrote the songs in the early 60's! Any oppinions? Mabey I'm just ranting... either way...
