  1. In 1966 I first heard "Reach Out I'll Be There" by The Four Tops.James Jamerson of Motown's in house band "The Funk Brothers" was the bass player.I was hooked by the power of Jamerson's playing. It is definitely in my top 10.
  2. Hey there RonJon......That old strat belonged to Rory Gallagher
  3. I thought it might be George Harrison but couldn't find any photos of him playing this particular model.lol
  4. Hi Edna I think I figured out the red guitar. It's Joe Satriani's Ibanez JS1200 Signature Guitar.
  5. Hi Bluesboy. That axe belonged to Jerry Garcia
  6. Your right. This should be in Fun And Games.I don't mind if someone wants ta move it

  9. I think Scott was right. That is Brian Mays guitar.
  10. Paul Stanley of Kiss or at least it's a PS-10 Paul Stanley Signature Model made by Ibanez. But I'm betting this one belongs to someone else though.I don't know who.lol
  11. Frankenstrat Can you identify a guitarist just by seeing his guitar? There are quite a few that I'd be able to recognize. The most recognizable guitar that I know of is this one.I see it and instantly know the name of the guitarist.
  12. Rock And Roll All Night...is my favorite Kiss song. It's the only one I listen to.
  13. I apologise Patricia.I couldn't resist throwing that in.
  14. I'll just be damned. He looks just like Eric Rudolf
  15. I'd have to say that Elvis was the best in his day when rock was young.Jerry Lee Lewis was jealous of Elvis.Jerry felt that he should be "The King" instead of Elvis.Carl Perkins was also a contender for the King title but was in an auto accident and couldn't perform for awhile so he lost out to Elvis.Carl wrote Blue Suede Shoes by the way.As far as having a favorite song by Elvis I pefer Crying In The Chapel.
  16. Check out Classical Gas by Mason Williams. There's lots of great guitarists who don't use a flat pick such as rockers Jeff Beck and Mark Knopfler for example. These guys play with bare thumb and fingers. There are other players who finger pick not with bare fingers but use a thumbpick in combination with finger picks.I saw Keb Mo on a t.v. program recently and noticed he was using the thumb pick and he had finger picks on three of his fingers as well. He's great and plays tradiional style blues.
  17. I'll give him credit for building it himself.I'm pretty sure I couldn't build one from scratch
  18. I like Bo Diddley but his guitar is the ugliest thing I've ever seen.lol ::
