  1. Another year and seems like things haven't changed much. I've discovered a bunch of bands, but these have been my favs for years. In random order: Pink Floyd The Beatles Rush Led Zeppelin Beastie Boys Spiritualized The Doors Sonic Youth The Damned Pavement The Allman Brothers
  2. Go here: http://reviews.cnet.com/Bandwidth_meter/7004-7254_7-0.html and post the results back. Also some web pages will load slowly for many reasons, this one being one of them. You should really try downloading files from websites to really know. Go to snapfiles.com or linuxiso.org and start downloading a big file. See how fast it downloads. Or maybe you need to open port 80 on your NAT or router? None of the programs you mentioned will slow you down, btw. I also have this program: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/netmeter.html that constantly draws a graph of any network and internet activity. If you have something d/l or uploading, it will show.
  3. That's Rush's Alex Lifeson somewhere in the 70's
  4. Well, the original album was half-Beatles and half-Martin with intrumentals from the movie. The 1999 version is more or less a greatest hits with the first half of the original YS and tracks from Sgt. Peppers, Revolver and Tour. Man, the Beatles catalog can be so confusing!!! ::

  6. Forgot all about: Eagles Live. From 80 or 81??
  7. Sure there is. They both have this laid back attitude that seems like they are leaning on a desk when they sing. Well at least on some of the songs :: and they are both funny althought in a different way
  8. OMG they rock!!! I used to hate Bad Touch untill I heard more by them, then my perspective on why they would do something like that changed. Man they are funny, funky and loud. They remind me of a more offensive They Might Be Giants. Favorite album: Hooray For Boobies, favorite songs: and Boom!!!
  9. Have you actually listened to all the songs you d/l?? This is what drove me off kazaa long time ago. It kept happening even with more obscure stuff. Plus is the most watched network. GooooooOOOOOO Bit Torrent!!
  10. Refresh this page and click on it while on Internet Explorer. If using Mozilla/Firefox/Netscape, refresh if you get to a blank page. Or an ftp client. You have two hours untill I close the gates again, starting......... now
  11. Bike (Syd Barrett 1967) I've got a bike, you can ride it if you like. It's got a basket, a bell that rings And things to make it look good. I'd give it to you if I could, but I borrowed it. You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world. I'll give you anything, everything if you want things. I've got a cloak it's a bit of a joke. There's a tear up the front. It's red and black. I've had it for months. If you think it could look good, then I guess it should. You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world. I'll give you anything, everything if you want things. I know a mouse, and he hasn't got a house. I don't know why I call him Gerald. He's getting rather old, but he's a good mouse. You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world. I'll give you anything, everything if you want things. I've got a clan of gingerbread men. Here a man, there a man, lots of gingerbread men. Take a couple if you wish. They're on the dish. You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world. I'll give you anything, everything if you want things. I know a room full of musical tunes. Some rhyme, some ching, most of them are clockwork. Let's go into the other room and make them work.
