I've begun a book of short stories that would probably go in the direction the first two publishers would like, so all is not lost in my quest to achieve my dream of a publicised book.

I tend to associate one song with someone or something more than an entire album (usually, even some of the best albums have a song or two that tends to be a bit naff in comparison to the rest of the tracks...)

I didn't put in any oldies because right now, I can only think of songs I like rather than think of entire albums that make tha grade overall. I don't believe there is anything there pre 1990, maybe even later! But I know there are friends I have tagged who will scold me severely for this and be able to add something which I never thought of but do really like (you know who you are )
