I guess they're not that popular, especially in the US, but I still enjoyed their albums, including the more recent ones

Nah they were a one-hit wonder in the U.S. Though I've heard they were hugely popular everywhere else.

All good things must come to an end.

I first saw Chumbawamba in mid-November, 1983, donchaknow?.
Doncaster Co-op Hall, supporting The Mob. (Also on the bill, The Passion Killers, D & V, Benjamin Zephaniah),

In 1990 or thereabouts, my band (at the time) Nerve Rack supported the Chumbas a couple of times (in Preston and Reading), and a friendlier bunch of people you couldn't hope to meet.

My grandad gave me some sound advice on his death-bed. "It's worth spending a bit extra for good quality speakers", he told me.
