"The System" were an interracial Techno-funk-dance duo from New York consisting of Mic Murphy (vocals, guitar) and David Frank (synthesizer).
They were a one-hit wonder who's only hit was "Don't Disturb This Groove" in 1987, which reached #4 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.
