Otokichi
I was on a movie/tv website when "The Pride of Jesse Hallam" popped into my mind. For this music website, Johnny Cash supplies some interesting songs about Life Without Being Able To Read. The other movie, Dennis Weaver's "Bluffing It" (1987) is supposed to be the better movie about Adult Illiteracy, but it ISN'T available on DVD! Why bring this up now? It's an election year, and one wonders how people who cannot read can function in this "text me" society. I (very faintly) remember Dennis Weaver's movie, and I'll look around the Interweb for a VHS (!) copy. Sorry for the Sermon, but the U.S.A. counts 27 MILLION "functional illiterates" trying to "Bluff It." Thank your teachers for the good fortune you enjoy as you can read (and understand) this rant.;) "The Pride of Jesse Hallam" soundtrack songs Edited September 30, 2016 by Otokichi Functional Illiteracy lasts a lifetime...if you let it.
