Well, hmm. 6 people only interested this year. Quite honestly, that's really not going to be a very fun league. If even one or two of the 6 were to become busy or lose interest here and there, it's even less so. I'm thinking we should just give it a pass this season then, and hope for a bit more interest next year? I realize folks aren't popping onto this site as much as they used to so catching attention can be a bit trickier now and it can be just a matter of timing. Alternatively, we could start once the season begins, but unsure if that even would help. No CanAm, Sammy, Rocky, nor RJ -or even another Songfactor ? Either way, I'm quickly running out of time to properly commish the beginning of the season, so there's that as well. Any thoughts?

Sometimes I'm amazed at how much easier it has become, and at others, stunned by how complicated something once rather simple now is (if you overlook a tiny step, etc.)....

Ok, well I hope everyone from last season will have a chance to pop in. We had 8 last year. Now, this was my first time to invite players directly from Yahoo, so I can't be 100% certain I have done everything correctly yet. Check Yahoo mail for an invite first; not sure if one came or not, but the league is showing everyone as registered so I think all you need to to is go to the Yahoo! Fantasy Football page, find the league, and confirm it shows you there, then bookmark it for draft and play. If we don't have enough players by the end of the month then we'll scrap the whole thing this year, so get back to us asap, please. We are leaving for Ireland on Sept. 1 for about a week, so let's get our confirmations, draft choices, and draft all done before then. Preferably a couple days before.

Well, karma is a bitch for Brady this year. Regardless of the football's psi, he no longer has anyone to throw to anymore! lol Congrats to Phil for 1st, Carl for 2end, and Carole for third - and Sammy for very successfully climbing out of the basement to a respectable 5th. It was another fun season and thanks all for playing. Enjoy the real playoffs now, and we'll hopefully see you all next season.

My, my! Another crazy week -all upsets! Congrats, Phil! See? Starting 0-4 doesn't mean much. Well done to stick with it and build up a strong team. I started thinking 'what if I had...', but there's no point. I went with who got me this far- and you had Beckam suspended- so c'est la vie. That near end-of-game 90 yard TD pass to A. Robinson was the dagger pretty much when I saw it yesterday: 16 points in a flash. Good luck to both you and Carl in the final, and Carole and I can pull hair and scratch for 3rd now. lol Good luck to Sammy and Kenne in the consolation final as well. Careful in week 17 everyone; some teams will go easy on their stars if a playoff spot is certain, so choose your starters carefully!

Wow! Upset city. Blues and Kenne got smacked out. I thought I was going to go as well until the last Arizona game gave me so many points you should be afraid -very afraid! lol. Well, anyway, for those out, there is still a consolation round to play, and congrats and good luck to those who won this week. See you all in the funny papers.

Playoffs start this week, folks ,and all are in it, so don't forget to set your line-ups. Some good tight match ups this week so far. Good luck!

Exciting weekend of games with 2 upsets and some surprising developments in our rosters-for better and worse. Well done Ian for knocking me off. Never dreamed Russel Wilson was capable of 49+ points in a game. Sammy's upset was a sort of miracle with a QB and another player scoring 0 but still getting 144 points - and getting the blow-out of the week even. Imagine if he had a QB? Vegas is going to be shifting around the playoff odds this week as Phil and Blues are getting solid points weekly now usually in the 140-150+ range. Carole, Carl and I are going to have to find ways to score more points again or just hope our guys had off weeks. Two more games to go before the playoffs start, and this past week has shown that anything can still happen so don't give up on your bunch just yet!

You and me both, Phil. Terrible results so far from all our guys. At least you have an excuse in having a pretty rough bye week-I was only missing 1 player! None of mine met prediction ( most less than half), and many had supposedly good match ups this week. Pretty humbling and scary to see just how bad my current bunch could be when I've been averaging 153 points so far. Hope they got it out of their system before the playoffs at least! I think I may have lost 2 RBs this week as well. 1 for sure for a bit. Only positive thing is it looks as though a few others are down in terms of average points this week as well, and nobody went on a tear. Pretty late in the season to risk a big rebuild now.
